Our Story

Founded in 2010, Dinner in USA began as a small family-owned restaurant in New York City with a simple mission: to celebrate the diverse culinary traditions of American dinner culture. What started as a single location serving regional specialties has grown into a nationwide phenomenon with restaurants in major cities across the country.

Our founder, James Wilson, grew up in a military family that moved frequently across the United States. This experience exposed him to the incredible variety of regional cuisines and dining traditions that make American food culture so unique. He created Dinner in USA to share these experiences with others.

Today, we continue to honor James's original vision by sourcing ingredients locally whenever possible, preserving authentic regional recipes, and creating welcoming spaces where people can gather to enjoy good food and good company.
